QSR Terminal software for fast-food & bar

Recently, in the field of public catering, there has been a trend towards the growth of the number of fast-food restaurants. This is caused by several factors - lower prices, quick service etc. The world pandemic has also contributed to the development of this kind of facilities.

Suphra has lately released and succesfully implemented new version of Suphra Terminal software for sales named QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), which is dedicated to fast-food restaurants but is also effectively used at cafe-bars.

QSR fast-food software

This version of Suphra sales software is dedicated to restaurants, where some of the dishes/drinks are flexible in terms of recipe and can be modified on demand - that is, it represents a kind of hybrid of fast-food and cafe-bar software.

Unlike regular Suphra Fast-food software, QSR cannot be used autonomously, that is it needs a dedicated server PC as well. This allows us to send kitchen receipts during the sales process.

In order to increase the work speed, the QSR Terminal has advanced options for entering and editing the order.

It should also be noted that in this version, one order can be served by several operators at the same time - that is, sales tasks can be distributed among several operators thematically. For example - a guest can open a check at one operator, take a portion of food and drinks with them, then move to another operator, order something else, and finally pay at a third Terminal and close the order. Operators can serve several other guests at the same time. Also, unlike the cafe-restaurants' version, there is no concept of a waiter here, and the numbering of tables is arbitrary.

Entering an order in this type of Terminal (finding an item in the menu) can be done in several different ways since it has multiple search options: search by the name of the item; by the name of the group of items; the location of the item in the menu; the unique code of the item; by the bar code or a QR code; it is possible to create a so-called "Hotkeys" - a list of popular items and popular groups that simplify the search process.

QSR is fully integrated with the latest version of Suphra digital scale and is designed to involve the weighing operator to the workflow - that is, one of the operators can sell items by weight, and the other - by fixed portions; finally a single check is created, according to which the guest pays at the cash register. The QSR terminal allows filtering items that are sold by weight, filtering items by kitchen sections and other tools to ease up the work of the weighing operator.

Such fast-food facilities can use both special checks and numbered trays or tokens to identify the guest ID (the check is opened with the ID of the tray or token - 30 trays in total).

Such a scheme of work allows several operators to work simultaneously on one and the same order.

QSR Terminal software is fully integrated with Suphra Queue Management System.
